Define "units" for use as trade store MOQs and for quantity discounts in price books
“Units” allow you to implement rules in Breww with normalisation across container types. It’s easiest to explain with an example; please see this help guide.

It's now easier than ever to log that a payment has been made from the mobile app while processing deliveries. Simply use the new "Log payment" button on the delivery screen (making sure you're using the latest version of our app - v2.4.0 or higher). You'll also be able to see the amount due at a glance.
Thanks to everyone who voted for the Cash on delivery shown in delivery app & record payment as taken from the app feature request and pushed this up the priority list.
Simply enter a reason when making manual adjustments and Breww will keep a record of this in the "Log" tab within the Stock Item. This is useful for both internal record-keeping and external audits. Thanks to everyone who voted for this on the original community feature request for helping us to make this happen.
You can now create your own custom fields on products and store any extra data that you need against each product. This information can then be exported with the Raw Data Explorer, filtered upon with BrewwQL and displayed on invoices by using a custom invoice template. Start taking advantage today in Settings -> Product settings -> Product custom fields.
We're delighted to announce that our new app has built-in support for some hardware barcode scanners from Zebra to help take the barcode scanning functionality in Breww to the next level. Our recent app update has greatly improved the barcode scanning on all devices, but for those businesses who want the level of performance that is only possible on a dedicated device, Breww now has you covered. Find out more about the supported devices here.
The app has received a major update over the last couple of weeks, with another major improvement to the barcode scanner functionality being released this morning! Scanning should be faster and more accurate/reliable than ever before, especially in low-light situations or with poorly printed/damaged barcodes. Please make sure you've installed the latest version (v2.1.1) to take advantage of the improvements.
Breww now integrates with Wix for online sales and stock level syncing! Find out more in our Sales platform integrations guide.
The theoretical max stock level can be complex to calculate, and determining the "limiting factor" can sometimes involve checking quite a few components. To help make this easier, we now have a brand new tool dedicated to this. Simply use the "sidebar" button next to the stock level to see a breakdown of how the theoretical max stock level was calculated. Please see Investigating why the stock level shows as it does for more on this new tool.
Recently, we introduced a step in the racking process to allow you to set the best before date instead of using the date from your rules. This step is useful and important to many people, but for the majority of people who want to use the Breww calculated date, it's another step to have to click through. This step has been removed, and the option has been bundled into the final confirmation step. You still have the same flexibility, but we hope this is a better overall user experience.
It's now possible to create a credit note directly from the original invoice. This saves time entering the products as you can simply confirm the quantity of each item on the invoice that requires crediting (with decimal quantities for a part-credit). This will also automatically use the value paid for the item on the invoice, rather than "today's price". For more information, please see the original feature request and the updated help guide.
