Track "sources" for leads & customers

You can now track the source that leads & customers hear about you from and filter/report on this around Breww.  By default, there are a few pre-set options, but if you'd like to handle tracking your sources differently you can manage the options from Lead > Settings & tools > Leads/customer sources.

Email notifications for low stock alerts

For a long time, Breww has let you enter a "reorder level" and will flag stock items (e.g. ingredients, not products) as low stock. This has shown a red "badge" on the Inventory main menu item. As of today, you can now subscribe to email notifications when stock is low too, so you can't ever miss them!

To set this up, simply head to Settings > Email settings, and enter one or more email addresses in the "Low inventory notifications" section, and leave the rest to Breww.

Beer and product tags

You can now define your own Tags and apply them to Beers and Products. These tags can then be used to filter reports, data exports and even optionally be enabled as "categories" on your private Breww Trade Store.

Manage your tags at Products > Tools & reports > Tags, then edit any beer or product to apply the tags. If you apply a tag to a beer, this will be automatically added to all products selling that beer.

Some great examples of tags are "Core" for your core range and "Seasonal", but the beauty is that you can use them for anything you want.

Batch schedule calendar improvements

The calendar now shows "more time" on the screen at once by having smaller "squares" for each day. We've improved how we show the dates to make it clearer at a glance, highlighted weekends in grey and even added bank holidays so you have everything you need at hand to plan your schedule. View the calendar at Production > Batch schedule, and set the applicable bank holidays to you at Settings > Delivery settings (we now support more countries for bank/public holidays too).

Create landing pages for your customers with QR codes

Have you ever wanted to add a QR code to your packaging, pump clips, coasters and more? Well, now Breww can help you do this quickly and easily. We take care of hosting the pages for you and generating the barcode.

Our new QR code landing page feature (listed in the main menu), lets you manage these pages using our visual page builder. You can then generate a QR code to give to customers and update the content of the page at any time (without a new QR code being needed).

You can create as many pages as you need, each with its own unique QR code, and show off your products versus your competition. We've all been in a bottle shop trying to decide which beers to buy (as sadly buying them all isn't really an option) and sometimes the space on the can/bottle isn't enough to do your beer justice. Add a QR code and the public can find out more in seconds and make an informed decision on which beers to buy.

Why not add your QR code onto your pump clips too so people can find out more before they ultimately choose your beer? Share tasting notes, photos, links and more. You're then on their phone for the next time they open their web browser and you can even add a link to your own website so they can order directly from you in the future.

Record what equipment was used during racking and transfers

You can now record any additional equipment used during racking or transfer! Simply select any equipment used from the "Equipment used" section of the racking or transfer flow.

This feature also means that you can set up any type of equipment with a usage-based cleaning and maintenance schedule, not just vessels and brewing systems. Just record when the equipment was used and Breww will alert you when a cleaning or maintenance task is due!

Search and filter products on your Breww Trade Store

Your customers can now search and filter products on your private Breww Trade Store to make it easier than ever for them to find what they're looking for.

Here's an example screenshot showing how the filters look on the left side:

We've also added the heavily requested search feature 😀  A lot of effort has gone into this to make it as "forgiving" as possible. For example, here's an image showing a search where the customer intended to enter "Belgian Blonde", but typoed both words (we've all been there), and Breww has still found the items that they were looking for.

Smallpack can now be racked using the mobile app

Before now the mobile app only supported cask & keg rackings, so we're delighted to add support for smallpack rackings now too. Support for the recently launched "delayed racking releases" has also been added to the mobile app.

You can now rack stock to be "on hold" or "conditioning" pending a release in the future

When racking (packaging) your beer in Breww, you can choose if you’d like to release this stock for sale immediately or hold it until a later date. This is ideal for bottle/cask conditioning, but can also be used in any situation where you would like to package the beer (rather than leave it in the vessel), but don’t want to immediately allow it to be sold or delivered to customers. Find out more here.
