Kegstar/Microstar integration now available

If you go to Integrations → Suppliers → Kegstar & Microstar, you should be able to enable the integration. Please note that the integration only works for breweries using their "scanless" system. For more information, please see here.

Set your own default for "Activity type" when logging CRM activities

Originally, this defaulted to the first option in the list (typically "Call" unless you added another option that would be before this alphabetically).

You can now choose a default option of your choice in Settings > Customer settings, or even choose for there to be no default (and force a selection each time). For background on why this changed, please see here.

Customer types can now be marked as "VAT exempt"

In addition to this option being settable on individual customer accounts, you can now set this on Customer Types to avoid having to set it on lots of individual accounts. This is particularly useful if you have an "Export" customer type, for example. For more information, please see How to set which customers have to pay VAT/GST/Sale tax.

You can now track just batch numbers or just expiry dates of stock items

Previously to today, you could choose if you wanted to "Batch track" any individual stock item or not. If you chose to track this, Breww would require both a batch number and an expiry date in numerous places, such as inventory receipts or when adding ingredients used to a batch of beer.

This option has now been split into two options to give you the choice to track just the batch number or just the expiry date if you need to. This is ideal for items such as vodka that don't have an expiry date but do have a batch number.

Print delivery labels for guest beer

You can now set a gross and taxable capacity on your guest beer stock items (not products), and if this is set, then Breww will include a label for them when generating delivery labels, just as it does for your own beers.

Customer custom fields can now be used in custom PDF document templates

Customer custom fields can now be used in custom PDF document templates. This means that you can now include any customer information you need in your PDF documents (invoices, delivery notes & credit notes).

Support for this was added following another great suggestion on our community here.

Multi-turn batches

Multi-turn batches have landed! You can now:

  • Define the individual brewing vessels that make up your brewing system (Mash tun, Boil kettle, etc.)
  • Record the volume transferred between them on brew day
  • Move multiple turns through the brewing system for a single batch
  • Record your brew day readings per turn
  • Assign ingredients to a specific turn

You can read more about this new feature here on our community.

The pre-brew stock check can now also include the required stock for planned packagings

You can now choose to include any stock required for planned packagings in your pre-brew stock check! This means that you can make sure you have everything you need on hand before you start packaging and avoid any last-minute scrambling.

This is another great suggestion from our amazing community.

Drag & drop to sort product lines on an order

You can now drag and drop product lines on an order. It works just like in many other places in Breww - you just click and hold on a row in the table and move it to where you'd like it to be!

This is another improvement directly off the back of great suggestions like this and this.
