Advanced Deliveries addon can schedule multiple runs for the same vehicle

Sometimes you have more deliveries to do in one day than can be done with a single run in each of your vehicles. A common cause of this is the total weight being more than the combined weight capacity of your vehicles. Up to now, you've been able to schedule some deliveries for the morning, then later in the day, schedule another run for the rest. This has worked ok, but it may not have always led to the most efficient use of time/mileage. With today's update, you can check a box to let Breww schedule multiple runs for each vehicle and improve the overall efficiency of the day.

In your "Delivery Settings", you can now set a "Delivery vehicle loading time", which is used to ensure that the turn-around time (between the 1st and 2nd runs) is reasonable to ensure that the afternoon run's ETAs are also reliable.

Send emails from your own email address/domain name

We're delighted to announce this heavily requested new feature. For information on how to set this up, please see How to configure emails to be sent from your own domain name's email address. This is another great suggestion from our community; thank you to everyone who voted for this.

Quickly duplicate recipe actions (e.g. add ingredient, take reading, etc)

Creating and updating your recipes is now even faster, thanks to this great suggestion in our community feature requests area. In two clicks (one to confirm), you can now duplicate a recipe action to make a new action that's similar to an existing action.

Delivery timeline that shows the day's deliveries at a glance

We've added a brand new feature to allow you to see the day's deliveries on a timeline, showing you at a glance when each delivery will be, how long they are expected to take (drop duration) and the time between each one. Breaks and uplifts are also plotted. This can be viewed by clicking on the "Show timeline" button and requires a subscription to our Advanced deliveries addon (as without this, there are no ETAs for each delivery). See the video below for a quick example:

Option to show "best before" dates as just month & year

There's a new setting in Settings > Label settings that allows you to choose to show a full date as the best before date (e.g. 12/01/2024) or just the month and year (e.g. Jan 2023) on your printed labels. This option applies to both delivery labels and stock labels. The default is as has always been shown in Breww before (the exact date), but you can now switch the "Best before date display format" option if you'd like to just see the month and year.

This is another great suggestion from our community, see Best Before End rather than Best Before (Show month and year only).

Set custom stock item sub-types for ingredients and other stock item types

You can now manage your own custom sub-types for all types of stock items to make managing and organising your stock items easier. Manage your options at Stock items (previously Inventory) > Tools & options > Stock item sub-types.

To take advantage of Alpha Acid calculations (and more ingredient calculations that are coming soon), make sure to pick the type of ingredient that your sub-type refers to.

Notes can be added to planned packagings

This is another great suggestion from our community, see Add notes to planned packaging.

The "Inventory" main menu item will soon be renamed to "Stock items"

Throughout Breww, the items you purchase (such as ingredients, packaging, etc) are called "Stock items". (In contrast, the items you sell are called Products.) However, in the main menu, there is an "Inventory" section, so to improve consistency we will soon be renaming this to "Stock items". Don't worry, nothing is changing about how they work, or what's shown, this is just a terminology change.

Option added to automatically update the scheduled date of a delivery/collection if it is dispatched early or late

Enabling this will mean that you cannot report on deliveries/collections that were completed on a different date to the scheduled date, but will ensure they show on the logical date in the deliveries section. This option can be found in Settings > Delivery settings.

"Mark as left duty suspense" has been named to "Mark as dispatched"

There's no change to functionality; this is just a terminology change. This button should still be used to indicate that a delivery has left the brewery/fulfilment-site and will still result in duty being calculated and added to your return at this point (in the UK).
