You can now drag and drop planned batches on the Batch schedule

We've added the ability for you to drag and drop planned batches on the batch schedule, allowing you to change the start date, extend fermentation or conditioning times or change the planned vessel by simply dragging and dropping.

The date header will now also move down the screen with you, making the calendar even easier to use.

Drag and drop functionality for in-progress batches will also come soon.

Customer mapping tool now live for Sellar customers

To until now, with our new Sellar integration, when you receive an order via Sellar and this is imported into Breww, if we could find a customer in your Breww account matching the name & address, we would attach the order to this account. If we couldn't, we'd create a new customer for you.

This was great as it would never hold up orders (as happens with the SIBA integration), however this has led to many duplicate customer accounts being created as Sellar's address differed a little from the address Breww had for the same customer. These duplicate customers could easily be merged with their Breww original, but this did rely on someone noticing and then a minute or so to complete the merge.

Today, following customer feedback, we've changed this - we'll still look for a matching customer, but if we can't find one, we'll hold up the order until you have confirmed to us if this is an existing customer in Breww, or a new customer. If you have outstanding customers to "map", we'll create a task in your account to let you know, and also show you a warning on the main software integrations page.

We hope this makes the Sellar integration even better and saves you more time than ever.

Casks/kegs can be manually assigned on the mobile app now

When assigning casks/kegs to a delivery on the mobile app, you can now use the new "Enter manually" button and Breww will prompt you to type in the container code. This is ideal if you have a damaged barcode that cannot be scanned in the normal way.

Simply go to the delivery in question and use the "Assign" button.

Make sure you update your app version to at least 1.8.0 to access this new feature which is available for both Android and Apple iOS devices.

You can now view the flow of costs through a batch on the batch's flowchart

As well as displaying where the volumes of a batch were moved to, you can now also view how the costs flowed through the batch from the batch's flowchart screen.

The flowchart will display the costs flowing in from merged batches, where ingredient and utility costs were added and how they then flowed through the remainder of that batch.

Daily fermentation reading reminders

You can now see daily fermentation reading reminders on your production dashboard. You can configure how many times each day you'd like to take readings, then fill them in as normal, or use the new tool to add them directly from the dashboard and Breww will "tick-off" the readings as you take them, so you never lose track of which have been taken and which haven't.

To configure how many readings you'd like to take each day, go to Settings > Production Settings. Set to 0 (zero) to hide these reminders completely.

Sellar integration

We're the first brewery management platform to be integrated with Sellar, the online trade marketplace. You can find out more in our community announcement here, and there's even a special offer from the Sellar team if you're not already a member of their platform!

You can now enter utility and other general costs against a batch

It's now possible to enter utility and other general costs such as water, electricity and 3rd party packaging fees against a batch. Rather than needing to create these as stock items, you can now enter them with simply a name and a cost under the "Utility/other costs" tab on a batch.

Costs are assigned to specific actions on the batch, so general utility costs can be assigned to batch creation and affect the entire batch, whilst 3rd party packaging fees can be assigned just to a specific packaging.

On customers, days of the week can be marked as closed

In the "Delivery windows" section of a customer, you can now mark a day of the week as closed. If you then try to arrange a delivery for this day of the week, Breww will warn you that they are closed. This is just a warning, so you can choose to override this if you know it's correct on a particular occasion.
